Green Corridor Management Plan
Biodiversity learning project
Greenwich is one of London's greenest boroughs - but did you know that formal management plans exist only for its Green Flag parks? The green spaces in between, however cherished and well-used, are largely left without guidance or support.
The Green Corridor Management Plan aims to change that. This biodiversity learning project will develop a practical, replicable plan for managing a defined green corridor stretching from Oxleas Woods to Woolwich Arsenal in the Shooters Hill area - giving Friends groups, community organisations, and schools the tools they need to better care for local green spaces and help wildlife flourish.
We're delighted to be making this happen thanks to a National Lottery Awards for All grant, and can't wait to get started.

Would you like to get involved?
Whether you're a local resident, community group, school, student or simply someone who cares about green spaces in the area - we'd love to hear from you. Click below to register your interest and we'll be in touch as the project gets underway.
Most of all, we want to know what you're already doing in the Shooters Hill ward: what's working, what's proving difficult, and what you'd love to do more of. By connecting people and joining up efforts, we can build something genuinely lasting - a thriving green corridor for the whole community.
